Many people dream of being in the old historical city - the city of Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik is the most romantic and best-preserved fortified city in Croatia, and perhaps in the world. The tour of the city begins with the meeting of the group in front of the Nautika restaurant in Piles in the morning.

We will start our walk with a view of the defensive walls of the old town from the outside. The walls of the Old Town in Dubrovnik are a cult sight. This impressive fortress, which dates back to the 13th century, encloses the entire old town. While walking along the 1942m long city walls, you will be treated to a panoramic view of red roofs, narrow streets and the sparkling Adriatic Sea.

For fans of the popular TV series Game of Thrones, we recommend visiting Lovrijenac Fortress. As you walk through the old stone corridors and courtyards of the fortress, you will recognize scenes from the series King's Landing, but you will also feel how much time has left its mark on the walls and pavements of this fortress. From Kaštela you will have the best view of the old city walls of Dubrovnik.

Then we will go to the city over the wooden bridge and we will reach the old city center through the wide walls. Everywhere above the entrance to the city, the church, the castle, you will be greeted by the patron of the city St. Vlaho. At the entrance to the city, you will be greeted by Onofrio's fountain, which has been supplying water to the residents and visitors of the city for centuries, the Church of St. Spasa, the Franciscan monastery with the oldest active pharmacy in Europe, and a library of 20,000 books, the Monastery of St. Clares and their role throughout history.

You will visit and learn about:

  • Stradun - the main street in Dubrovnik where you can eat the most delicious ice cream in town. This elegant limestone street stretches for 300 meters and is surrounded by beautiful buildings and shops.
  • The Duke's Castle is one of the most impressive buildings in Dubrovnik. Originally built in the 15th century, the castle served as the home of the elected prince, the highest authority of the city. Today, the castle is a museum that offers a fascinating insight into Dubrovnik's historical and cultural heritage.
  • Dubrovnik Cathedral - the beautiful blue-grey dome towers over everything and is visible from many places in the old town.
  • The Dominican Museum and Monastery - a religious complex from 1225 with a Gothic church and a museum of art and artifacts. It is located in the heart of the old town and is a cultural masterpiece not to be missed.
  • Church of St. Blaise - a church in the Venetian style and is one of the main attractions of the city. You will learn about the Festival dedicated to St. Blah, the protector of the city, which is celebrated this year for the 1053rd time.
  • Sponza, Roland's Column, the Jewish Synagogue which is the second oldest in Europe, the port of Dubrovnik and the history of shipbuilders, sailors and Dubrovnik merchants and artisans will accompany you during the entire tour.
  • You will have the possibility of an excursion to the nearby islands - Lokrum, Elafiti. And of course, the possibility to move a little further from the old town and taste authentic local dishes in Konavle, in Bosanka, and in Ston to taste fresh seafood and fish, and taste the best quality Pelješka wines Plavac Mali, Dingač and others.
